SPECIAL SUPPLY PURCHASED BY THE SHIPYARD

Today, Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. has positively closed the purchase of a ‘BARGE’. It is an important operational tool which will allow the Shipyard to haul and launch units up to a displacement of 3.500 tons.

The unit, approximately 92 meter long and 30 meter wide, is a special semi-submersible floating barge equipped for work as well as for transport and it has a maximum operative draught of about 13 meters. Such unit will mainly dock at the quay of the Genova Sestri Ponente Shipyard and, beyond launching the Shipyard units, it will also be used as a base for refitting, repair works and conversion of any unit up to 90 meter in length.

Thanks to it, Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. once again sets itself at the center of the worldwide international attention of the luxury yacht environment, always offering more and better services to its Clients.
